Protection of personal data

A judgment of the Court of justice of the European Union is expected

On 8 April 2014 and 13 May 2014, in its two important judgments, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJUE) took position in order to safeguard the right to protection of personal data and the fundamentals rights of the EU citizens.

Recently, the High Court of Ireland has brought again a case of data protection before the CJUE and the position of the Advocate General confirms this position.

The decision of the European Commission on the adequacy of the level of protection of personal data on third countries is questioned. Please see the following link:
